Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
Examova is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to achieve this.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Accessibility Features
- Keyboard navigation: We design interactive elements for keyboard use, including Tab navigation and Enter/Space activation.
- Skip to content: A skip link is available on every page to bypass navigation and jump directly to main content.
- Screen reader support: We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and proper heading hierarchy for screen reader compatibility.
- Colour contrast: We aim for WCAG AA contrast in both light and dark modes and address reported issues.
- Dark mode: A system-respectful dark theme reduces eye strain and improves readability in low-light environments.
- Responsive design: The platform adapts to all screen sizes from 320px mobile devices to 1280px+ desktop displays.
- Touch targets: We design buttons and interactive elements with touch-target guidance in mind.
- Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines appear on all interactive elements when using keyboard navigation.
- Text scaling: We work to support reflow and use at up to 200% browser zoom.
- Bilingual support: English and Arabic locale support with RTL-aware rendering.
Known Limitations
- Some third-party embedded content (e.g. Stripe checkout) may have limited accessibility support.
- Older PDF study materials may not be fully screen-reader optimised.
