1. Who We Are
Examova ("we", "us") operates examova.com, a professional exam preparation platform. For any privacy question, contact [email protected].
2. What We Collect
Your account details (email, certification choice, a hashed password, and an optional display name), your study activity and results, and basic technical and usage data such as pages visited. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
3. How We Use It
To run and personalise the service, track your progress, process payments, send service emails, keep the platform secure, and understand how it is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Storage & Security
Our servers are in Germany and your data is protected with HTTPS and hashed passwords. Service providers such as payments, email and analytics process data for us and may do so outside the EU.
5. Your Choices
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Delete your account from your profile, or email us, and we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated statistics and limited records needed to prevent abuse and for legal or accounting purposes may be kept.
6. Cookies
We do not show a cookie banner. We use first-party cookies for sign-in, security and preferences, and a first-party first-visit source cookie (90 days) that records the page and campaign you arrived from. We use analytics tools (Google Analytics, PostHog and Umami) to understand how the site is used, including session recordings with form fields masked. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; sign-in needs the essential cookies to work.
