What should you do with the one-minute average?

One minute per question is a useful practice reference, not a rule that every question must take exactly 60 seconds. Some questions are direct recall. Others ask you to distinguish between terms or interpret how the method applies. If one item is taking too long, make a reasoned choice, flag it if your practice tool allows, and return after you have answered the rest.

A simple practice routine:

  1. Review one method area, such as a principle, practice, process or role.
  2. Answer a short set without looking at notes.
  3. Explain why your choice fits and what made the alternatives less suitable.
  4. Record terms you confused and revisit them in the next session.
  5. Later, take a timed mixed set to practise switching between areas.

Use this routine to connect the terms with their meaning rather than only reciting a list. A term may look familiar while still being confused with a neighboring concept.

How to use a mock exam

Take a timed mock only after you have reviewed the method enough to make it useful. Afterwards, do not stop at the score. Sort missed answers into a few categories: missing knowledge, a confused term, or a question you misread. Study the largest pattern first, then take another set to see whether you can explain the idea more clearly.
